Gaia XP Program is Here! Earn Points While Helping Gaia Grow

We’re excited to announce that the Gaia XP Program is officially live! This initiative rewards our dedicated community members—end users, node operators, and domain operators—who’ve supported Gaia from the beginning. By joining the program, you can climb the leaderboard, earn gaiaPoints, and actively grow the Gaia network.

To qualify for future rewards, Node Operators and Domain operators are encouraged to join, contribute and be part of the network. Additionally, end users can also join the initiatives by interacting with AI agents on the Gaia website or Telegram MiniApp, inviting friends, and completing quest tasks to accumulate gaiaPoints.

Who Can Participate?

1. End Users
   • Individuals who interact with Gaia AI Agents and use Gaia’s products/services.
2. Node Operators
   • Individuals or teams running Gaia nodes to provide decentralized AI inference for the network.
3. Domain Operators
   • Individuals or teams managing Gaia domains, routing traffic, and aggregating throughput for their respective domains.

Key Terms

• Throughput: Measures how the rate at which an AI system (like an LLM) successfully processes and completes user interactions.
• gaiaPoints: Points earned by stakeholders (end users, node operators, domain operators) for throughput and task completion.
• gaiaCredits: A balance used to access interactions with Gaia AI Agents. Stakeholders can redeem gaiaCredits using gaiaPoints.

How to Earn gaiaPoints

1. End Users

• Interact with Gaia AI Agents: Chat with AI on the Gaia website or via the Gaia Telegram MiniApp. The more interactions (throughput) you generate, the more gaiaPoints you earn.
• Complete Gaia Tasks: After connecting your wallet (on the Gaia website or MiniApp), pick from a variety of quest tasks to accumulate gaiaPoints.
• Refer a Friend: Share your referral code with friends. Every successful sign-up or engagement nets you additional gaiaPoints.

2. Node Operators

• Run a Node: Set up a Gaia node in under five minutes and contribute to the Gaia network. Keep your node online and processing requests.
• Connect to a Domain: Nodes must link to a specific domain to be eligible for gaiaPoints.
• Boost Node Usage: Promote your node or domain to increase traffic. More throughput = more gaiaPoints.

3. Domain Operators

• Secure a Domain Package: Register your domain so your AI agent is publicly accessible on the Gaia network. Visit Gaia Domain Registration to get started.
• Register Your Domain: Follow the instructions to onboard your domain to the Gaia network.
• Attract Nodes: Domain operators earn a percentage of gaiaPoints generated by connected nodes. The more nodes and the higher their throughput, the greater your reward.
• Promote Your Domain: Publicize it to drive user interactions and AI queries, further increasing your gaiaPoints.

Tips to Maximize gaiaPoints

• As an End User: Redeem your points daily—there’s a cap on how many gaiaCredits you can claim each day.
• As a Node Operator: Connect your node(s) to the domain(s) with the highest traffic. Maintain high uptime and responsiveness.
• As a Domain Operator: Promote your domain widely to attract more users and nodes. Higher domain package tiers also yield more gaiaPoints.
