What is Gaia?
Gaia is a decentralized, open-source AI infrastructure enabling developers to create and deploy AI agents from any knowledge base. By creating new Gaia nodes or contributing to existing domains, developers foster a living, intelligent ecosystem where knowledge continually grows. Gaia is the pioneering network for AI orchestration.
What are gaiaPoints?
gaiaPoint is a metric used to evaluate contributions in the Gaia ecosystem. Contributors participating in the Gaia ecosystem will therefore receive gaiaPoints.
Contributors:
gaiaPoint is measured based on the LLM throughput volume (a.k.a language token consumption). Additionally, users can earn gaiaPoints by participating in various community activities and quest campaigns, both online and in real-life (IRL), organized by Gaia. Contributors will eventually receive gifts afterwards based on gaiaPoints.- End Users: Earn points by interacting and chatting with AI agents built on Gaia Network.
- Node Operators: Accumulate points by running Gaia Nodes that conduct decentralized AI inference.
- Domain Operators: Gain points by registering Gaia Domains and enabling Gaia Nodes to connect and provide services through the Gaia Domain.
What are gaiaCredits?
- gaiaCredit is an on-chain token designed to reflect the language token consumption within the Gaia Network. Users must spend gaiaCredits to access Gaia AI Agent products and services, such as the Chat UI, Gaia Domain API, or dAPPs built on Gaia.
- Users can redeem gaiaPoints to obtain gaiaCredits and therefore continue to use Gaia AI Agent products and services to earn gaiaPoints. gaiaCredits will be consumed based on the number of language tokens processed per request.
How can I get gaiaPoints?
gaiaPoints can be earned through interaction, usage, and contribution within the Gaia ecosystem. Here’s how different participants can earn gaiaPoints:
- End Users: Earn points by interacting with and chatting with AI agents built on the Gaia Network.
- Node Operators: Accumulate points by operating Gaia Nodes that facilitate decentralized AI inference.
- Domain Operators: Gain points by registering Gaia Domains and enabling Gaia Nodes to connect and deliver services through these domains.
Important:As a developer, before calling the Gaia Domain API, you need to register on our website and create your own API Key.
How can I get gaiaCredits?
- Users can redeem gaiaCredits using their gaiaPoints. There is, however, a daily cap on the number of gaiaCredits one user can redeem.
- Once redeemed, gaiaCredits are consumed as users interact with AI agents, based on the language tokens processed. gaiaPoints, on the other hand, remain intact and are not depleted after redemption.
Why should I participate now?
Following Gaia TGE, participants (end users, node operators, and domain operators) will get awards based on their gaiaPoints holdings. For detailed information and updates, please stay tuned to official announcements on Twitter.
How can I earn more gaiaPoints?
Join the Referral Program
- Earn gaiaPoints by referring friends to Gaia activities. The more friends you refer to, the more gaiaPoints you accumulate.
- Unlock additional bonuses for hitting referral milestones (e.g., 10, 20, or 30 referrals).
- The referral program also offers rewards in stable tokens, adding extra incentives.
Participate in Gaia X Announcements and Activities
- Stay updated on Gaia X announcements, as gaiaPoints may be distributed during various events.
- gaiaPoints are mostly awarded on a first-come, first-served (FCFS) basis, so act quickly to claim your rewards.
Can I redeem all my gaiaPoints to gaiaCredits?
No, there is a daily cap on the number of gaiaCredits one user can redeem using gaiaPoints.
Do gaiaPoints get depleted after being redeemed for gaiaCredits?
No, gaiaPoints remain unaffected after redemption. Only gaiaCredits are consumed during interactions with AI agents. To maximize usage, it's recommended to interact with AI agents to get gaiaPoints and redeem gaiaCredits daily.
How can I contact Gaia for support?

- Engage in Group Chats: Tag Gaia Core Contributors or Moderators in group chats for assistance.
